Great Experience with Park Lane Tobacconist

I placed my first order with Park Lane Tobacconist recently, and the interaction, transaction and tobacco were all excellent. Orders have to be placed by phone, but the staff were very friendly and on top of their business. My first order included Black Forest, and English Aromatic; Knightsbridge, a very good English blend; and Fireside, a burley blend. I highly recommend them!

Lots of good shops and tobaccco blenders! Don’t sleep on Wilke, Watch City, KBV, and others.

I've never had their tobaccos, but I do have one of their house brand pipes stamped Park Lane Ltd., Tan Briar, London England, 9489. It looks like square shank billiard GBD Graniton.

I've done business with them over the years, although not in a while. They have some good blends, some of which I still have, including quite a few ounces of a Bengal Slices homage called Park Lane Bengal. Paul Bonacquisti and his brother started the place. Paul is a talented pipemaker, although I'm not sure he's still active these days. I was privileged to commission one of his pipes a good many years ago.

How does it smoke?

It smokes great, like most GBDs I find. Here's a photo of it. PL on the stem instead of the GBD rondel.
