I broke with my normal mold of tobaccos I smoke, as well as the article I smoke them in. I did it, I ordered a tin of Granger and a cob to which to smoke this in. Not that I am completely into stereotypes, but felt the cob was fitting. I did not want to taint a briar if I found that Granger was not for me. I smoked it and enjoyed it. It was a nice change from my normal blends. A simple pleasure. No thinking required. A thank you goes out to the members that led me to try this tobacco.

This being said, the tub is quite large and it will take me a while to make a dent in this. Will this tobacco be fine if it remains in the original container, or would it be advisable to jar it up like I do with my other opened tins?

You might consider storing it in several smaller mason jars. I can usually fit two ounces of tobacco in a nine ounce amber mason jar. Having smaller jars will allow you to access smaller amounts of tobacco while leaving the rest undisturbed and still sealed.

It’s fine in the container. ☕
