Grabow Relics

Today I was putting some wood in my neighbors barn and saw pipes on the dirt floor. Evidently these are old Grabow factory defects that my late neighbor bought an unknown number of years ago to burn in the fireplace.



Wish these old pipes could talk. Not sure if they are briar wood, or the holy grail: mountain Laurel root pipes from WW2.

That's pretty cool. You never know what you'll run into in an old barn. I love anything Dr Grabow.

It appears that many of them haven't been drilled for a stem.

Looks like they haven't been drilled at all. But it's easy enough to drill them and put a stem on them anyway.
