My brother got me a Dr Grabow Omega picked up at an antique store. Modern versions of this pipe list the stem material simply as “plastic.” Considering the patina on this one (assuming it is decently older), is this more likely to be vulcanite? It is indeed sour which tells me it’s sulfur.

You got a great Grabow there…a real classic model too. There’s ways to get that stem cleaned up and “de-yuckified”.
