Congrats on your newest addition Brian! That's a lovely panel billiard, and a shape that suits you well. Your young apprentice has a good eye.

Good on ya! That's a great idea. I'm still debating even whether to smoke my pipe around my kids. Perhaps getting them involved in a small way, such as choosing a good smellin' tobacco or picking the pipes might be a nice transition into daddy's hobby.

Damn fine looking pipe. A paneled billiard is on my most wanted list for sure.

Nice pipe. You are definitely raising a son with distinguished taste. Saddle bits are amazing aren't they?

Thank Ohin, I really haven't liked any that I've seen until this one, plus once the little guy picked it there wasn't any turning back.
Soggy, I talked to my oldest about the smoking, she's 10. I explained that it helped Daddy to relax and explained  the difference between cigarettes and pipe tobacco. She doesn't like the smell like my son does, but she does understand moderation so we've reached a truce on the subject. She does think I'm weird and that our local pipe club is a bunch of pipes needs, but what can you do.

Thanks BRDavidson. I appreciate the feedback. Explaining cigs vs pipes is along the lines I was thinking, too. In any case it will take some delicacy.
