Got the 965, loved it, what\'s next?

So, I tried the Dunhill 965, really liked it, and discovered (as per my previous post) that it is still available in Denmark for some time to come. Seeing as I like that blend, what would you suggest I try next? I still smoke aromatics sometimes, but right now I'm dying to try some interesting english/balkan/oriental blends. Tried the Early Morning Pipe which I didn't really like, not as round and smooth as the 965, to my tastebuds at least. I have tried a number of American tobaccos (from Pipeworks & Wilke), mostly aromatics, that I really liked, so maybe you have some interesting suggestions from the huuuuuge world of American pipe tobacco?

You might try a blend that my local shop calls 925.

It is a dead ringer (in my opinion) to Dunhill 965.

I buy it in bulk from The Briary.

They do mail order.

You might give it a try.

Peter Stokkebye Proper English is the closest blend to 956 I have ever smoked. I have smoked many pounds of both.

I've resisted answering since I despise 965 so much, and thus didn't feel my advice would be welcome. Nonetheless I decided that, with the exception of that one anomaly, I can still offer some advice since I love English & Balkans.
A great crossover English with some Aro qualities would be McClelland's Frog Morton on the Town. Their Frog Morton on the Bayou is a great English with perique. And I would be remiss not to mention McClelland's British Woods, an exceptional English favored by myself and Dunendain.
McClelland's Oriental 14 is a great oriental-forward blend. (You can probably tell that I like McClellands quite a lot. I honestly don't think there's a better American blender.)
In terms of Balkans, G L Pease makes some of the best, like Charing Cross and Abingdon (though Abingdon is quite full and can be an acquired taste).
Non-American English/Balkans that I would recommend would include S G's Squadron Leader, one of the best all-around Balkans, Esoterica's Margate, and Ashton's Artisan's Blend. Esoterica also makes a very good crossover with an excellent roomnote called Pembroke, which is an English delicately cased with cognac.

Esoterica is a brand that I would like to explore. English, Balkans, and their Va/Pers.

Thanks for the suggestions! I already have an order in the mail with 2 tins of Esoterica tobacco, namely Dorchester and Margate. I have heard a lot about the different incarnations of Frog Morton, so I guess I'll try a couple of those. Also, Squadron Leader seems to be a semi-legendary English blend, which is luckily quite easy to get a hand on in Europe. Germain's Special Latakia Flake has been suggested to me as well. I'm beginning to think that I might actually grow quite fond of Latakia down the road. Have any of you tried Caroles english blends from Pipeworks & Wilke? I love dealing with Carole, always quick and superb service. (Not to make a commercial or anything, just sharing my experiences. Hope that's OK).
