My new Duca Carlo Savinelli Billiard came in the mail today, I think she's a beaut. Got a couple fills and such, but thats fine by me, I'm not perfect either, and it looks great!
I'll let you guys know how it smokes as soon as I find some time.
Here is the pipe in question: http://www.smokingpipes.com/pipes/new/savinelli/moreinfo.cfm?Product_ID=112656

I also got a new Sav not long ago. It's a Champagne line 707KS and it smokes wonderfully as I've heard most Savs do. Has one noticeable fill and one hardly noticeable but just like you it doesn't matter to me much.
Let us know how it smokes, though based of my experience and others you should love it :)

This is my first Sav, so I'm pretty excited.
I have a Mr. Brog, a Paronelli I found at a local tobacconist one that doesn't have all those designs, and a Molina. So this is my first more generally recognized brand of pipe.

I don't normally like filters, so I don't think I'm going to bother with the balsa. I am going to try it with the adapter and without, do you guys notice a difference between the two?

Very nice - love that color.
I smoke my Sav (I only have one) with the adapter, some say you don't even need that.

Beauty, I have a couple & like em. I use adapter & balsa, adapter easier but when you replace the balsa you wouldn't believe the crap it traps. I figure whatever I can eliminate...
