Got my first Meerschaum - what do you think?

Hi all,
Yesterday I picked up my first Meerschaum - an estate pipe that has apparently been treated properly (based on the nice coloration and the fact that it was very clean and had absolutely no smell whatsoever. It must have been quite some time ago when it was last smoked.)
It is a Tanzanian block Meerschaum. It also came with a brochure. The marking on the shaft says "Genuine Block 7 Meerschaum".

I am not sure what material the stem is made of - it looks brownish and has some minor bite marks on it.
I smoked it today the first time with some Lord Methley's - and was really amazed to find that the flavors are really rich and pure, and I was able to detect very nice nuances in the flavor of the smoke. I think I will be very happy with this pipe.
What do you guys think about it in general (and in particular)?

Enjoy this different than Turkish block meerschaum. The color is fixed on your pipe. Smokes very well. Shel

African meer is colored in production. I doubt you'll see much change over the years from what you have now. If you didn't pay too much and you are happy with it, yours is the only opinion that counts.

Warren, I do think I got a good deal - I paid $15 for the pipe (including two carved stone ashtrays with Tanzanian motifs) and I am very happy with how it smokes.

(I also like the coloration of the pipe.)
