Got Mud?

Quick question,

Recently purchased a pipe that seems over reamed and some of the bowl came off with the cake.

Should I leave it alone and smoke it or should I make pipe mud and patch it?

Any pros and cons to the pipe mud?

That's how I see it as well the rest of the pipe is in pretty good shape...

Fireplace mortar is the better alternative to pipe mud, though in that case I'd leave it alone.

I concur..... smoke it and get that carbon layer built up again.

I would probably just smoke it as well. Don’t fear the mud though. It works wonders
