Great looking stores. Did I see a chess set (or some other game) in of the first pics? The two story one, wow! And love those adirondack chairs in the smoking lounge!

Well, I finally got around to taking some more pics of my favorite B&M, Williams Tobacco Shop!
image168-600x402.jpg

This pic has Melvin (the owner) in it. He tried his best to stay out of the pics, but I managed to get him in one!

Here's a shot of two of the three rows of humidors he has. They actually exted a few more feet behind me, but I couldn't really get a good shot.

This case is mostly all Nordings.
image163-600x450.jpg

Dr. Grabows and MMs on the wall, and in the case are Savinellis (current models, NOS models and autographs), Stanwells, more Nordings, BC's, and various other brands and NOS pipes.

Melvin's selection of tins was pretty low today. The case in the foreground is full of accessories.

He also carries a large assortment of collectible steins and stuff.

Here's a shot of the house blend sample jars.
image170-600x541.jpg

This case is mostly Meers, flasks, and NOS Zippos.
image171-600x450.jpg

This case is mostly Petersons, with the bottom shelf being made up of Nordings, Kriswells, Savs, and basket pipes.

And lastly, are the Medicos, Kaywoodies, MMs, basket pipes ect..
This is where I spend a lot of my time and money, lol!

Ha, it worked! I finally got this stupid computer to post more than one pic in a single post, but man, was it ever a pain in the ass! It took me nearly an hour to compile that post!

You aren't helping me resist my TAD with those pics. I have some errands to run in Cleveland, but I am trying to put them off because I know I will stop by William's and spend some money. I may have to break down and run up there soon.

I know I'm a little late to this thread, but I didn't have any good pics of my local Edward's in Lakeland, FL before yesterday.

I'm new here--just signed up, so if I'm breaking protocol, don't hesitate to correct me.
Petes03, thanks for posting the pics of William's Tobacco Shop, and for including Mel in one of the shots. I've traded with Mel since 1995, when he was down the street and on the opposite side from where he is now. That's when I first tried CC (Cades Cove Cavendish) and became a regular customer.
Mel is a super nice guy and has an impressive collection of tobaccos, both OTC and custom blends; pipes; simple to complex cigarette rollers; imported cigarettes; imported and domestic cigars; and the paraphernalia that goes with them.
I had to move to Hixson, closer to my work, so I don't get into William's as often as I used to; but I visit whenever my tobacco supply runs low and buy a pound at a time. Occasionally, if a pipe catches my eye, I'll buy a new pipe. I have remained a loyal customer for Mel, because quite frankly, he treats his customers more like old friends than customers. I dare say that anyone who goes into William's Tobacco Shop when Mel is at the helm will be a new regular customer by the time they leave the shop.
Thanks again, petes03, for the photos.
