Interesting. I see BMW Isetta's every once in a while, but that one has me scratching my head.
The Isetta has two wheels in the front, which has to be a tad more stable...

While we're on funky three wheelers, here is the new Nissan Deltawing, which will race at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in June, so this one really works!

From what I understand they made those three wheelers for people in England because their taxes are super high on cars, but the three wheelers are under the motorcycle tax which is much cheaper

If I was going to drive something you could get killed in by being hit by a motorcycle, it would be this:

Forget gasoline, plug the thing in!
with tears of nostalgia, I used to ride a 1998 Honda Shadow VT1100 ... like this one, mine was yellow/white though:

SmartCars aren't as unsafe as they look.
And what I posted is a Brutsch Mopetta (I wish I could say I knew that on my own, but it's at the bottom left of the photo. I cheated).
I would never fit in it.

Thanks Fred. If you search Brutsch Mopetta it can lead you to a Museum of Micro cars.

Laugh now, with the price of gas going up I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't start to see new cars like these, remember everything old is new again. I just read a report on how well the new little Fiats are selling now here in Canada.

Every time I see one of those cars, no matter what, this song comes to mind:

I love the new Fiat 500, but I'd go for the Abarth, which is still tiny, but has some push to it at 160-bhp and 170 lb.-ft. of torque. Plus it only weighs 2533 lb.. at the curb. I wouldn't be able to fit the family in it, but it'd be more for me going to and from work. Maybe around town with the wife.
I'm kinda worried about gas prices, but if it gets real bad, I foresee something that has two pedals, handlebars, and two wheels in my future. It'l be great in the summer! I'll get to shower when I get to work and when I get home! At least I have nice toned legs!
