Since we pipe smokers share many similar interests, I though I'd share a collection of cool watches I found from URWERK I'm amazed at the craftsmanship and design skill.

With some of their watches over $100k, they better be gorgeous! I agree though that they are works of art. I'd just be too afraid to actually wear it anywhere... 8O

I have a bad habit of breaking watches.

Unfortunately with me the higher the cost the lower the life expectancy of the watch.

I had to get off those watch forums. I was going to pull the

trigger on an Omega Planet Ocean for $4000 till I came to my senses.

Now I have a Seiko Sumo for a daily beater.

Why does that omega planet ocean look exactly like a watch I got from wallmart for like 8 dollars?
Right now I've got 2 because I bought my yearly watch ahead of schedule and the first's battery isn't dead yet, but I don't like it so it'll just sit in a drawer until it finally does.
The one I wear is made almost entirely of plastic, got it from a Chinese distributor (its a "chisen" apparently) It looks a lot less cheap than it is.

Very nice watches for sure.Very space age looking. obviously beautiful.But I must say I am more of a vintage/antique pocket watch guy. I have several.My oldest and favorite is an elgin dating from 1894. Works just like new and holds perfect time.That's all I need. Thanks for the link though. :puffpipe:
