Some insane prices on pipes from Goodwill. I had no idea they had a web site let alone pipes.

In one group of 4 pipes there is a dunhill, the bid was 6.00, I put a bid in before I seen "No internationl shipping"

You are a kind man, papipeguy, but not a wise shopper. As much as I love supporting our brothers in briar, you just assured that the prices on Goodwill pipe auctions will now go up! Pipe deals are like fishing holes. Speak generally and keep the specifics to yourself!

That is pretty cool! I'm going to check out my local places to see if they happen to have any.

Never know if you'll find a jewel, but also a way to get some practice pieces for refurbishing.

Been wanting to try my hand at some more "delicate" procedures; such as restaining, expanding tenons, etc.

Well, kenneth, you're probably right. I've never bid online for pipes so I may have inadvertently pushed the price window; but at a starting bid of $5 on a site less traveled than ebay I don't think the "action" will put the cost out of reach for most......until now.

The money is going to charity so I don't have a problem with them getting what they're worth.
Also I know quite a few folks who check out their auctions so this isn't revelation!
By the way I like that Peterson bulldog!

I'm one of those goofy guys that prefers to break in and smoke new pipes. But if I wasn't I'd be all over that. I agree with adam12 the money goes to a good cause.

For what it is worth, I did bid on the set of 4 pipes, one of which I believe is a Dunhill. Well, I won the lot with a bid of $11.77. I'll post pictures when they arrive from Oregon.
