Good RYO Leaf

Will someone advise me what some good leaf is for RYO. Including a couple of aromatics. I want to buy some as a gift for an acquaintance.

Tabac Manil: Le Petit Robin is hands down the best I have tried for those purposes. Peter Stokkebye Norwegian is good as well.
I've heard Gawith and Hoggarth Kendal Gold but have not tried that yet.
Daughters and Ryan are also alleged to have several good RYO options.

There's a lot of D&R to choose from. Which ones would do a good job?

Try Picayune. It's one of D&R's best sellers and is inspired from an old brand of cigarettes, so it'll probably work nice as RYO.

I've been smoking D&R in my pipe for a couple of years now. I've smoked a lot of their blends. I used to smoke RYO and I used Drum when I did.

I would suggest that the 3 Sails blended Virginia's.
I smoke a blend or mix of 3 Sails, TwoTimer, and Picayune in my pipes. About 40/40/20.
