It's getting cold here in Michigan as well. Fortunately I have a personalized blanky from my friends to help keep warm...

Pretty warm nigh tonight. Sitting at 49 deg. with slight breeze.

Had to turn the heat on in Minnesota on Monday. It was 57F in the house. I grew up on the plains of North Dakota, much like the Canadian plains but marginally warmer. Nothing to stop the wind for hundreds of miles. So my comfort in Minnesota is that, no matter how bad it is here, it's worse in North Dakota.

Bit of a warm spell today. It was 48F this morning.

Here we have two seasons, Rainey and dry. One more month of rain every day then it's 6 months of no rain. When the temps get down to the lower 70's then the Mommy's here put parkas on their little kiddos. I'm in N.W. Nicaragua.

Hit 32 Friday night in Alabama. We only have two seasons: Summer and Winter. It really sucks here.

I was mountain biking today and ended up taking a little swim in a stream before completing the trip at night, boy that was cold! Was not dressed for being wet at like 45 degrees.

Freezing my a$$ off up here on Sand Mountain. But fired up the wood stove and now I have to open the windows...

Had nice Indian summer weather for three weeks. High 60's and low 40's. Really enjoyed it. We have a front moving through now with high winds 40+ mph from the north and lows in the 20's and highs near 40. We never get winds like that from the north. If we get winds like that it's from the S-SW. I've been thinking we haven't had a hard winter for quite a few years now. I think we're in for one this year.

Enjoying a bowl outside right now. Mercury is at -8 C (18 F). Crisp, but pleasant as the wind is nonexistent.

Usually it's very windy in Saskatchewan. Locals will tell you that's because "Alberta sucks, and Manitoba blows"!
