Going to Germany ... What to Bring Back?

Important question: What German place (or region) are your family members going to? If we know that we can be more specific what they can bring back. Each region has its own tobacconists where you can buy different tobaccos. Blends from Samuel Gawith, MacBaren, Rattrays, WO Larsen, Dunhill and a couple more are available at most tobacconists.

I'm off to Berlin in the New Year and intend to get a hundredweight of Strang, HU Dockworker, Dan St Bernard Flake and any other goodies I can think of delivered to the hotel to await my arrival, so this thread is very useful! Anyone know anywhere (pipe-related!) worth paying a visit?

But that's me...both are nice folks and make great quality pipes... Of which are mainly unbeknownst on the U.S. market. If you make it to stuttgart... I know some more guys there.. Haha

Congrats... You'll enjoy visiting with her... There are many makers, like myself, over here that truly enjoy the hobby and its a pleasure that you found such a great looking pipe... The entire pipe industry in Europe is enjoyable... Tobacco stores to envy.. Image multiple stores like smokingpipes and smokers haven in major cities... Here in stuttgart we have 4 B&M stores that are a pleasure to visit....my business trips to the stares include looking up the stores and makers close to where I'll be at any given time... Same over here... Anyway.. Enjoy yor trip

I think your family can best visit Stefan Meier (located in the city centre) or Ludwig Holderied (located at edge city centre).
