Iam a big fan of glp I like most of his tobacco blends however I love his sammara blend and his lagonda thoughts pipers.

I'm a GLP fan also. It's awesome that you like those, but My favs are Laurel Heights and Telegraph Hill.

Haven't had those yet. But with GLP blends, there are so many good blends. Every time I try new ones, my favorite changes.

So far I have enjoyed Pease's English blends more than his Va/Vapers. I am particularly fond of Quiet Nights, Chelsea Morning, and Gaslight. These forums suggest that giving the VA/Vapers some aging time will be beneficial.

I still have not tried Samaria, but it's on my list. I wish I'd jumped on that special anniversary edition when I had the chance. Lagonda is good, but not one of my favorites, which is more about the sheer quantity of excellent Pease Latakia blends than any knock on Lagonda. Some of my favorites are Spark Plug, Kensington, Charing Cross, and Maltese Falcon. Blackpoint, Odyssey and Quiet Nights are up there as well.

I also like a good number of his non-Latakia blends. JackKnife, Triple Play, Embarcadero are all wonderful. Currently working on my first tin of Laurel Heights, trying to figure out what I think of it.

Samarra is very good. The 20th Anniversary edition was bind-boggling - very happy I went deep on those.

Cumberland and Haddo's Delight are my favorite GL Pease blends, but I have a soft spot for most of his offerings. Westminster and Samarra are stand-outs in the English world, and I'm surprised Samarra doesn't get more love.

only tried two. And they are both so good I don't want to try to many and end up smoking almost just GLP. Also they are so good I don't smoke them often. I don't want them to be humdrum or common to me.

Indeed odyssey is a good one.

It loses some of the sweetness with age. The newer the better.

I've got some from 1999 to present, and the older it gets, it just loses something.
