I dried mine out under my tobacco lamp for about an hour. Amazing burn and great flavour, all the way through the bowl

ash13brook, I don't know how much your tobacco will dry out when you pack it in the pipe moist. I would try cubing it and letting it dry like that for an hour or so and it should be good to go. Clumped together in a pipe like that could take days to dry out properly, plus I would think the bottom of the bowl will not dry at the same rate as the top.

The wad I dried in the bowl had to be dug out and dried, as mentioned above.

Peckinpahman, how are you storing those tins?
