Great history on the iconic Dr. Graybow. I have a well-cared-for Dr. Graybow (35 years of age). It provides a good smoke but, as I remember, it did require some breaking in and treatment with alcohol and olive oil in its early days of service. I never thought of the pipe as a low cost Dunhill. It is what it is...a good drugstore pipe.
