Anyone know if these 2 varieties are the same? There seem to be so many variations, some actual and some only in name, that it's hard to keep track at times. Examples: Brown Flake Scented or Aromatic. My thought is that what was previously "scented", is now "aromatic". Thoughts?

Thanks. Thought as much but wasn't sure.
Now, "same thing" to the very random way GH&co makes tobacco is relative. I should have said that they are meant to be the same thing, but with the willy nilly way GH&co seems to change each blend each time they make it will be the luck of the draw.

I am still trying to get my head around Dark Flake Aromatic which I don't think is an Aromatic compared with Broken Flake No: 7 which is truly impressive. As @cosmicfolklore says anything G&H can be a bit of a crap shoot since the flavors tend to change slightly from batch to batch.
Agreed but it's nice to have an idea of what it's intended to be, lol.

Really, there is no difference, scented mean aromatic. They are the same words, indicating the same thing... something that appeals to the nose or olfactory senses. Some people want to dicker about GH&co scented selections not being in the same category as aromatics, because of stereotypes about aromatics being for girls, beginners, and small children. But, really the only differences is the actual chemicals used, not the category. Think of GH&co blends as being aromatics for men... which are made with a French whore's perfumes, which is ironic, I know. Ha ha.
