I received a new Meerschaum pipe last week and I have decided to do the One Meer For One Year challenge! I will not smoke any other pipe but this one for one entire year.
When this pipe arrived I noticed alot of interesting areas within the meerschaum, almost resembling pieces of broken glass chunks scattered throughout. some of you have made some comments that it may be a form of "translucent" meerschaum.
Since getting the pipe, I've smoked only this pipe, about 8 bowls. It seems to me like it's extremely absorbent, noticing that it's taking on that colour throughout the pipe, very quickly. Here are a few pictures of it unsmoked.
