The Big Rock Candy Mountains
Who knows what’s in it these days, but back in 2014, when Andy Stewart sent me some there was the unmistakable flavor of ale. I mentioned it to Andy and he tried some and said that it was a standard pub ale. He had a more specific name for it. It was the first time he’d tried RDF and it became a favorite for him.
I stuck my nose into a jar and it does smell of burnt barley and malt. So, I can be convinced that it's cased/ topped with a dark ale like Porter or Stout.
