Pipedia tells us George Yale was an upscale New York City tobacco shop.

That’s not only Aged Algerian, it was a flashy fancy grained example.

Somebody smoked it enough to color it oxblood.

But look how nice the stem and button are.

It should be a dandy smoker, just the pipe for outdoors.

Very nice! Handsome looking pipe. What are the characteristics that have you call it a “full bent” rather than an Oom Paul or a Hungarian? Or are all three of those terms synonyms and mostly interchangeable?

I think it’s a full bent and not quite an Oom Paul (Hungarian)because the rim of the bowl doesn’t quite match the height of the shank, plus it just doesn’t look Oom Paulie to me overall.
