I think his stuff is awesome!! If I had 2k to spend I'd consider it. I bid twice on a couple of estate King pipes that ended up selling for $1300+. These pipes go fast and high on the secondary market. It's a thing you love or hate with very little in between. They are seriously done masterfully and purposefully. They're put together seriously well. He does brilliant work.

This is the best Nate King pipe I've ever seen and possibly one of the best I've seen by anyone. LOVE this pipe.

I like the look, myself. Definitely out of my price range, as are a lot of the artistic steampunk works out there (many of which do sell for a lot more than $10, so not all of those old clocks died in vain...). The art pieces in turn inspire those of us with a DIY streak - my next project is probably going to be a custom pipe "sporran" that snaps onto one of my Utilikilts in place of the snap-on cargo pockets.
