GBD New Era Before/After Pics

This one was pretty rough when I received it, but it wasn't quite ready to retire. The button was worn flat and the stampings were light but still legible.

Agree, that is some beautiful briar that was hiding. Also agree, that is some magic going on. Stem is a total transformation.

Really super work Dave! It's always nice to see these so called average pipes brought back to life and put into service again. They really do represent the history of smoking through the years. Keep it up! :clap:

Thanks guys. The billiard may not be the most exciting shape, but as far as pure smokability, they're hard to beat.
@ pylorns, it's the original stem. I rebuilt the button.
@Al, the rhondelle was the only thing on the pipe still in good shape.
