GBD Lovat Pipe

I have a few Lovat pipes and truly appreciate them. I picked this one up the other night. The images are from the seller. Any idea of the age/quality of the pipe would be appreciated. I've never owned a GBD brand pipe before.
GBD, Lovat London England 657, GBD London Made.

Thanks for posting the pix you had access to. I can't answer the age question,

but anything under $100 is probably a good deal IF the pipe is in very good condition.
You can learn quite a bit about GBD's at the pipe logos and markings website.

Al is also a great resource for GBD info, he really knows his GBD's and helped me with mine.

A nice Lovat, a GBD shape I don't yet have. According to Jerry Hannahs page, the London made came out in '78 and ran until '81. The "London, England" stamp shows it is pre-Cadogan - so I assume it has a brass rondell on top of the stem (not pictured). That has a nice grain and looks like the stem can be easily cleaned up. Enjoy it!

Very nice GBD - nice grain, handsome shape. I don't know much about GBDs other than they're supposed to be excellent pipes.
