Pretty sure that "coloring" (at least at the rim) is done at factory. Still pretty though
the coloring was like that when i bought them,to my knowledge African meers don"t color, they have been great little smokers The old cajun
Oh ok, and here I was going crazy over finding a Meer now :D But yes, very beautiful indeed and it's awesome you've hung onto them all these years, Cajun!

Very pretty pipe indeed. Added it to my watch list, thanks Roth. Unfortunately I can't really even afford it at its current price seeing as 2 Cavicchis in one month have dried up my PAD funds until 2013... hopefully at least

If you're a glutton for punishment in an African Meer resto, you could go with this one, It's a Pioneer that will need a bit of work. Clicky

Nice pipes Bradley! Curious what your opinion is on Meers in general? Are they equal to Briars? Do you smoke them often?

TopD would be the expert on this, I like them to try out a new tobbaco that maybe the briar would change the taste a little, but I"ve been going to my Mortas more as they smoke dry somewhat like a Meer, I find I smoke the briars more than the meers, but that's just me, I like the texture of a dark rusticated briar in my hand, maybe that's old school but that is what I like. That Sav that you have was a favorite of mine, but I felt that it was a time in your life that you needed this more than me, glad you are enjoying it. The old cajun
