According to GQ Tobaccos (a uk shop), Gawith Hoggarth Best Brown No2 is only sold in bulk in the UK.
Here's the full description that I'm guessing maybe Glynn Quelch did before he sold the shop. Glynn knows his tobaccos.

"Now this tobacco divides many in the tobacco reviewing world, Is it a Lakeland or not? Whiles the guys up in Kendal class this as more of a natural Virginia & Burley flake, it does have a few topping and these are mainly sugars etc. However due to the nature of tobaccos produced in the Kendal factory, all of the lighter blends have a slight back ground note of the Lakeland flavours. Comprised of Virginias and Burley from Africa, India and South America this tobacco is very popular with traditional smokers in the UK and around the world.

The tobaccos are cold pressed with the addition of a little inverted sugar, this helps keep the plug/cake together and removes the sharpness found with pure Virginia. The resulting plugs are then aged in the factory, before being sliced into neat flakes and packaged (Bulk for UK and Tinned for export). During this aging time in the factory, Lakeland aromas from other tobaccos do gently seep into the plugs.

Much like Brown Flake and the actual Lakeland Florals, this tobacco is best smoked slowly and ideally not rubbed out too fine. Once this tobacco is lit you are greeted at first with the woody, grassy flavours of the Virginia and the slight background flavourings. Once you are ¼ into the bowl, these absorbed flavours subside and you are left with a natural tasting tobacco. Cool and smooth to smoke, if supped slowly and ideally not in a wide chambered pipe. Smokes down to a fine ash at the bottom, no goopy mess. A classic English Flake, medium in its body and never disappointing with its flavours."

BB#2 is a completely different blend than Brown Flake U/S. BB#2 has just a touch of burley while BF has more and a touch of dark fired leaf.

Agreed. I've smoked a lot of both, and they don't seem even remotely similar to me. BFUS with sauce is of course BF Scented, not BB2.

Being fond of the Lakeland soap, I lean a bit towards G&H. But I do love FVF and squadron leader a bit too...
