Anyone smoked this. if so any good.

I included a couple ounces with my last GHC order. I like it. Similar to their other brown flakes but it has a bit of Latakia and some unique flavorings. If you've enjoyed the other brown flakes and think you'd like the added flavors, it's an easy recommendation.

I had not smoked this in a while so, I am smoking a pipe now to refresh my memory. Keep in mind that this batch has a couple of years on it. I am finding it a smooth, relative mild smoke. There is a a very relaxing chocolate tone to the smoke. I would say that jiminks’ TR review is pretty spot on (as usual). It no longer has the rough edges that Jim mentions. I do think that the chocolate flavor and the Lakeland essence is a bit more pronounced than I remember it being a few years back. I consider both a good thing. If it is not to your current tastes, I would recommend setting it back, like I did, and enjoy the improvement.

Bob’s Chocolate Flake is a special tobacco. The very light hand with the Latakia works very well with the mild chocolate topping and minimal lakeland essence, as well as the vabur base tobaccos. Having all those play their own part and have their own influence sounds like an absolute mess, but somehow it just works. A very unique tobacco that everyone should try at some point. One of my favorites.

Love this stuff. Earthy but slightly sweet, and very smooth. One of the few tobaccos that I am buying and storing in some depth. I also like GH American Delight quite a bit.

I bought a sample in one of my orders, really liked it. I didn't get chocolate, or Latakia from it while smoking, and the smell of the pouch was primarily almondy. It was sort of sweet, a bit floral - made me understand what the Lakeland thing is - but overall very enjoyable.

Will buy again once the shitstorm with covid-19 blows over.
