Blackcurrant, cherry brandy, strawberry, blueberry, chocolate, rose and geranium, these are not tropical.

Tropical or not it sounds darn lovely to me! Anyone who tries a tin and doesn't like it is more than welcome to send the remainder my way for efficient disposal.

Pardon me, I've misled you all - it's Island Mixture and blow me down if the flavours aren't pleasant. This actually achieves its aim, I'd say, with a sharp berry tang that dominates.

The banana and strawberry flavouring is what puts me off. Doesn't sound like the sort of thing i'd like but you never can tell. I've got some of the Gawith 2022 Summer Reserve tobacco and that's supposed to be flavoured with Gin & tonic with a citrus overtone. I can't stand gin, even the smell makes me nauseous. The tobacco is really nice, though. To me it just has a fruity, sherbert flavour.

If anyone on here tries this Island Gold then please let us know what you think.

After a couple of bowls, Fruit Salad. I get a bit of pineapple in there too, the fruit is pleasantly acidic and bosses it, despite a bit of granny undertow. It will bite if puffed too hard for too long.

I remember picking up a small pouch of Summer Reserve - smelt exactly like a urinal cake. I can't actually remember if I smoked any or not. Maybe I should have!

I didn't get any of that. I thought it was a really tasty aromatic.
