Sad, but potentially true. I was fortunate to enjoy a few blends from this shop, a couple of decades ago. Best wishes!I give it a few years. England's attempt to be tobacco free by 2030 may come into play.
Airey's was always worth a visit anyway, but this is good news - however long it will last. I hope Peter (who used to run Airey's) is still in good health and will enjoy retirement (if he has retired!).Now we'll have a place to go to when we visit Kendal!
Did they stop? Do tell.Fantastic! Now they just need to get back to making baccy
Some folks just like to whine about the limited amounts they can put out (yet usually detest and decry the large factory style producers in the same breath).Did they stop? Do tell.
It is true after long periods of full availability of most blends there seems to be less on Smokingpipes for months now without a big resupply, more like the old days. However, there’s still a decent quantity of great smoke from them, just maybe not your favourite or rare…. Also, there are other pipe stores and other countries so who knows there.Fantastic! Now they just need to get back to making baccy
Damn, knew we were forgetting to do something each day - kept saying to all the lads and lasses.....I know you are here to make something, just can't remember what it is we are meant to do todayFantastic! Now they just need to get back to making baccy
The same text was sent to all our retail customers to assure them that business will continue as normal for them with deliveries from the factory to their shops.I was wondering if that 3rd paragraph from the instagram post was really necessary... sadly it is.
