Apologies if this was already covered in another thread. Does anyone know if this has been cut from the G&H line? I know another Lakeland favorite of mine "Kendal Flake" was discontinued a bit back. I hope Ennerdale isn't the only sauced lakeland they're keeping. I get that they get some hate online,, but some of us really love them.

No not discontinued, just now put out under its other name - Mahogany.
Mahogany and Broken No 7 are the same thing - just it was called one thing for tins and one thing for bulk.
Now it's the same.
Awesome, thank you very much for the quick response! I'll keep an eye out for it if it comes stateside. And I won't feel guilty smoking the rest of my stash...

Clearly not that many of you or it would probably not have been discontinued!
Kendal#7 has not been made for years.
And it was not being put out with two different names depending on if pre-packed or bulk.
Blends are not just 'discontinued' without thought - 95% of the time it is because they simply do not sell enough to make it worthwhile keeping in production. Only on the odd occasion is it because we can't get component ingredients.

Have you given a recent production batch of Kendal Dark a try? It's remarkably similar to the old Kendal #7, so much so that I'd be hard pressed to tell the two apart in a side by side comparison.
Unfortunately, by Rachel’s timeline of its demise I found #7 when it was NOS already.
It’s at a perfect place strengthwise for me between the Kentucky’s (KK, DBE, and KD) and Kendal Mixed. The former are just a bit heavy on my palate for a “back to back” all day blend in my pocket, and the latter just a bit light (but a better “all day”). #7 was in the “Goldilocks” zone for me.
For not selling much, so many of their blends that have got the axe in the short time I’ve been around were pretty hard to find in stock here in the states, while many of the new offerings are easier to find and “drops” don’t immediately disappear.

This has been my experience too: Kendal Dark is good, but Kendal No.7 has a little extra oomph that really makes it just right for me (and, for some reason, it's particularly good after a bowl of Pegasus). Unfortunately I came to pipe smoking too late in life to help keep it in production, but thankfully I happened to notice back in May when @Skippy Piper mentioned that it was out of production, and managed to find a 500g bag.

That’s about when I grabbed the last 500g SPcom had…

Would a mix of Kendal Dark and Kendal Mixed replicate it?

Must be about time to ramp up for a limited production and refill the shelves then! 😜
Well it didn't sell well when last in proper production so er.........no!
And you can't JUST do limited runs - every blend has to be registered (costs) , there would be artwork and labels to do, finding time in an already packed production schedule, packing schedule......
We don't tend to bring back blends that were discontinued because they were not great sellers. That makes little business sense.
