There is a joke running around here "This week I bought my 2 weeks alcohol supply three times". You're not the only one. I went to my local Virginia ABC store just to get another bottle of my favorite bourbon (Belmont's Kopper Kettle) and overheard the store manager talking about Virginia ABC stores mandatory closing to his coworker. I only had about half of this yesterday morning. Given my "normal" consumption of one or two drinks a week, this would last me about 20 years.


The most pleasant surprise was Ford's Gin. It's REALLY good, and I'm not a routine Gin drinker. Lots of fleeting flavors and very smooth. It does smell rather like expensive aftershave.
