My favorite of Pease’s Englishes so far. It really has a lot going on with the Orientals and Virginias, and none of that gets clobbered by the Latakia. It really is a great blend.

Yep, GL Pease Spark Plug is a modern classic. It's my No. 2 Pease behind Maltese Falcon.

For once Pease missed my sweet spot. I like a great number of his blends but Spark Plug and Penny Farthing just aren't for me.

That is one pretty plug, highly photogenic. I'd say, never peel a plug by layers, since you'll miss the fullness of the blend, but otherwise, I accept the recommendation and will add this to my list on my glacial way through pipe smoking. The tin art is extra snappy too.

I wasn't sure what to expect but if you like English then don't go without trying it. It's so smooth and buttery with that creosote flavor backed with fine orientals and a nice sweetness. Pleasingly annoying to have smoked a new blend that potentially displaces my top one? 1st world problems.
