I have only tried one of Greg's blends, but am loving it. Caravan, it's an oriental forward english blend that is awesome. I plan on trying more of his blends. I am into english/balkans and he has some that sound like they would be right up my alley.

Left a tin of Key Largo at a friend's house once. His father was a Cigar smoker and we have smoked some nice cigars with him on occasion, BBQs, etc. Well, he threw out the tin of pipe tobacco he saw that I left there, but assured me that there was hardly anything left in the tin. No big deal.
No big deal? I didn't have the heart to tell him that it was the equivalent in smoking time as tossing out 4 perfectly good cigars...
That son of a !@#$%.
My inner tobacco monster wept.

If you like latakia GLP blends try Lagonda which is a toasted latakia blend and like no other of the GLP bends. Also, GLP Meridian is another very good blend and very popular.

Navigator should have been released in 8oz and 16oz already. I know Greg tests the blend with the 2oz and then if it's a hit it takes about 4-6 months. Well Greg it's a hit now tell us when! I have a box of jars waiting for it.

Wow. I'm speechless. It's always great to read that some of my blends are bringing people pleasure. Makes my day!

.

As for 8oz tins of Navigator, it and Sextant will be seeing light soon. I did the labels a couple weeks ago, so it's just a matter of time. Probably after the Chicago show is over.

+1 Igloo.
Haddo's Delight really taught me a lot about rhythm and working with the tobacco and pipe. Big draws we're getting me hot air, but I would really notice layers of flavors in the smaller sips. Same for exhaling. I could chase certain flavors according to how I smoked it. When I wanted some stewed peppers a bit through the nose brought it.
I realize I could have learned that on many tobaccos, but I've always enjoyed the layers I find in GL Pease blends. Like FIllmore for example....there's something there, but I just haven't been able to pull it apart yet.

Thanks Greg! I’ll start making the labels for the Navigator jars. Please do us a favor and just ask Harris how many he wants, and sell it to him directly so we all have a chance to buy it lols.

I'm very excited for the larger size Sextant. I'll start saving my tobacco money now.
