The pipe arrived yesterday and imho the pics. did not do it justice .

Perfectly shaped and sized billiard with the appreciated slightly forward canted bowl, showing beautiful grain.

Barely smoked.

I will subject the stem to my home made "goo gone" stem deoxidizer and see what happens, nothing ventured...

Man, I'm always learning stuff here on the forum. A year or so ago I posted about discovering the name of a pipe my wife bought about 30 years ago, but part of the nomenclature was covered by a silver repair band. I knew that it was made in England as I could see enough of the stamping to tell, but I could never figure out the name. Turns out it was a Dulwich Quaint. Now it appears that it was probably related to G. Huybrecht pipes, if what I'm reading here on the provided links is correct. Pipe making history takes some convoluted turns at times.
