I jarred this stuff about 12 years ago. Don't let anyone tell you Ball jars don't work. I have yet to have one fail on me. This stuff is in great shape. I start by peeling about an eight of an inch, cut it in strips with a scissors, then cut the strips into little chunks. I rub them a little bit, but then I just jam them into the pipe. Maybe a few more relights are necessary, but it's worth it.
This stuff is really good. I liken it to a cigar alternative. Very strong and oily, and it absolutely refuses to bite. Plenty of smoke, even with the really rough cut, but no problems with the burn. Just a straight up strong smoke from one of the most historic blenders in the Old Country, They say it's made from Malawi dark fired leaf and Indian dark air cured. The description says it has Lakeland scent, which I dislike, but it is not very evident in this blend. The aroma in the jar is sweet and raisin-like. Don't try it if a big nic hit is not your thing. Otherwise, I highly recommend it. A total classic by anyone's definition.
