Look up Longchamp pipes. They had a variety of hair covered pipes. Horse and pig are the estate ones that pop up the most.So I wasn't the only one that thought this was strange? Well that is a relief!

Hey now, I have an asbestos pipe. I’ll dig up a picture of me with an old respirator on. I poked a hole in it and jammed the pipe in it. Behind me in the picture is a placarded fire scene. The placard says “Danger - Asbestos. No Entry without PPE”
