So I wasn't the only one that thought this was strange? Well that is a relief!

Look up Longchamp pipes. They had a variety of hair covered pipes. Horse and pig are the estate ones that pop up the most.

Made in the '60, so like those horse hair covered pipes probably is. I would prefer real fur but damn, how do you light that without it bursting into flame.

Hey now, I have an asbestos pipe. I’ll dig up a picture of me with an old respirator on. I poked a hole in it and jammed the pipe in it. Behind me in the picture is a placarded fire scene. The placard says “Danger - Asbestos. No Entry without PPE”

It’s amazing what people think of to sell. In the pipe game some use catch phrases like “minty”, “shiny”’, “gently unsmoked”
