Fritz Becker For Carmignani Roma

Struggling to find its way from Italy to the Netherlands; a beautiful unsmoked bent apple carved by Fritz Becker ( you know; father to Paolo ) for the Carmignani shop in Rome. If memory serves me correctly the shop closed 1992. The pipe was carved 1975-1978 when father and son had net yet established their own brand. It comes with a nice clean sleeve.

Carmignani was still open in 1998.I bought a couple of pipes there in June of that year.However,they closed soon after.
