The friend list has the added benefit of allowing the members easy access to their friends' profiles. Granted, most will never use this function, but it works for me. It also helps that I have a small list compared to, say, Lawrence. Not nearly as hard to find hobie's profile (OK, I have his bookmarked. That scamp.)
