Just what do they mean when they say a pipe is fresh? Is it new? Did they give it a bath? Or do something else to make it "Fresh"? Ok let me have it, I know there will be some snide comments, I'm ready!!

It’s marketing. It can mean whatever the seller wants to it mean. It also means whatever the buyer imagines it to be.
If you're referring to SPC, fresh just means newly available.
My pipes are fresh when I give them a bath. Warm water and organic soap. Soap just on the inside bowl and shank.

Ok, that explains it @chasingembers, yes I was looking at some pipes on SPC and they said Fresh, so that means one they just acquired or one that they are just putting up as one they just received. Makes perfect sense.
It is a great feature for people who go there almost every day looking for that one pipe or just the next pipe. If you didn't see something last time just look at what's fresh. And yeah like everyone says it just means new.
Smoking Pipes just uses it to describe Fresh Inventory, as embers said.
I've also seen 'fresh' pipes that were advertised on eBay and they looked decidedly 'unfresh'.
