The hole was off center a bit on this pipe so I experimented with it. What do you guys think. I really appreciate the feedback.And thanks again for the nice comments on the other 2. I am having a great time carving these pipes!

As far as looks go I think the only thing that it would benefit from would have been a softer curve around the outside edges of the bowl and a countersink on the inside. But that's just me being very critical.

It already looks pretty great! Some great shapes you're getting out of these blocks.

ichbinmuede,you are absolutely right about the bowlrim, that was an oversight on my part, I will need to fix it. I didnt really care about this pipe since the hole is off center a bit so I didnt spend much time on it. I wanted to experiment with rustification. Turns out this pipe fits pretty good in the hand, it is also much smaller than the other ones I have done even though the briar block was huge.

I think it looks great. Love this style. Do you make them just for yourself or do you sell them?
