Found what I think is a good meerchaum...meerchaummarket?

I found a nice long poker style meerchaum on ebay. Asking $185. 7.25 L 2.2 H. I want to keep the smoke out of my face, lol. I offered a lot less to start. I like the beeswax color. What do you think? Comes from Turkey.

Looks interesting, I'm not a Mason but those look like Masonic markings. Maybe you'll have some sort of out of body experience when you smoke it that tells you all the secrets of the dollar bill!

Nice carving. You can gavel Masonic meetings to order with it. I assume the chamber only goes down to the shank?

Yes, they actually call it a mason hammer. Here are the specs. The chamber must come down to the shank. Still deep enough for me.

Length : 18.50cm. = 7.28"
Height : 7.2 cm. = 2.83"
Width : 4.1 cm. = 1.61"
Bowl Diameter : 19 mm. =0.75"
Bowl Depth : 36 mm. = 1.41"

Yes, if you are speaking of a less open draw, I actually prefer a slightly less open draw. So, for me that's not an issue.

I have a military meerschaum from them that was carved by Servi. It smokes great.
