Reminds me of the pipes you have from the Russian (I think) carver.
They do look like Andrey Kharitonov's work. Judging by the style and stem fitting, I'm guessing it's some of Fatih's handiwork.
Maybe she prefers the room note of pipe tobacco to RYO cigarettes and is hinting that you should switch back.
It's my cellar tobacco going into the cigarettes. She's been living on her own for a while now and sends occasional gifts.
I've had an epiphany for coloring meerschaum. That one may be a victim.
Well then, I guess she was just raised to be thoughtful.

I smoke cigarettes like I smoked a pipe, very little smoke and i don't drive anymore. My idea involves a cork and tape.
A couple of my friends have transitioned from pipes to darts too. I’m encouraging them to grow some Samson as it works great in RYO and with our climate cures itself on the plant.
Do you notice any flavour difference between smoking your cellar as RYO vs a pipe? In particular, the presence of papers/filters?
Straight orientals are great for them. I prefer the brown filterless tubes and seem to get more flavor than from pipes.
I just talked to her. I was a pipe smoker for many years prior to even meeting her mother and she's known me to smoke one her entire life. She just said that it felt weird that I quit.
