Yes do post. We really don't get enough women's point of views. I would really like to see a post started about what types of pipes women find attractive or what aspects of a pipe makes them want to purchase one. My girlfriend is semi-into the hobby now but we have completely different tastes. Could be helpful to me as well as a lot of other members.
Thanks for the welcome. I hope some of you can read between the lines as to why I PM 2 members about Rich and 4noggins, where I have been a loyal customer since Jan. I live in Ontario Canada and deal with him. I hope that gives you a good idea why this was private and not to be a question on the main board. He is having some problems with credit card payments etc. I thought it was something else ( wink wink ). As far as what pipes I own, many !!!!! around 70. I like Peterson, Savenelli, My Old Byfords, Di Monte, Kaywoodie, Bjorn Thurmann, Storient Meerschaims and many more. No Dunhills, rather have the money!! I like Peter Stokkebyes Tobaccos, Lanes, The Frogs, Gawith Hoggarth, Samuel Gawith, and many others. I have not gotten the knack of Flakes yet but will. I am looking forward to trying Penzance which Rich has me on a list to contact when he gets it in. I'm just an ole gal who likes to smoke pipes!!

Adam, check it out on Angie's List before clicking. I'm pretty sure they have a category for Sex Goddesses that offer online degrees in sexyoutology while giving you a mortgage break after laundering your student loans.
Well thank you ejames. 4noggins is still having credit card issues. I just tried with my Visa as per his request via e-mail to me and it was a no go. I'm in no rush so I will give it a couple of days and hopefully he will have his tech problems solved. Thank you again gentlemen for your kind words and understanding, it was quite a shocker to me this morning as I had coffee and pipe ready to read the new threads for the day and saw this thread about me. Not how I wanted to say hello, but I do now have a heads up on certain things and will be mindful of it. I am so pleased to know that there are gentlemen among you. I will go now and enjoy a bowl. Welcome to the site timely. I for one would enjoy hearing your perspective of being a woman pipe smoker and would also like to see some of your collection. It sounds like you certainly know what you like and have some great taste in your tobacco's. Please do join in, this place is chock full of some very caring and good hearted people.

Hi Storient yes you have told me in the past not to be shy and post, so here I am. A question for ya did you get my pipe from the Postal Facility over there? Sending pipes by ship is not a good way to go it takes forever to get there, but I am looking forward to smoking my beautiful calabash. So let me know if you picked up my pipe yet, you have my private e-mail. You can never have too many pipes or too much tobacco in my humble opinion, the more the merrier!!!!!!!! I just need a humongous pipe cabinet for cheap !!!!!! which they are not at least any of the beauties I've seen for sale online.
If I could figure out how to put pics up there would be one I would put up. I have a very unique pipe that I cannot find much info on. The pipe is an ALTESSE BEST BRIAR, no indication of where it was made. This is where it gets interesting the pipe has a briar bowl, the stem is made of Amber, it has a silver band marked STERLING 925 FINE along with the ALTESSE BRAND NAME. The case for it is made of Snakeskin, on the case it says GENUINE AMBER, GUARANTEED FINEST QUALITY. I know of 1 other person who has the exact same pipe and also got it in Canada, we cannot find any info on this amazing pipe. If anyone has any ideas about this pipe that would be great. Also you can tell that this pipe and case are very old, luckily mine is in almost mint condition. Thanks
