I’m thinking about buying some vulcanite stems and turning the tenons somehow. I don’t own a lathe yet, but I’ve seen tenon turning tools for sale that will work in a drill or drill press. I don’t mind the plastic MM stems, but I prefer a wider fishtail bit, and to me, vulcanite is more comfortable than acrylic to clench.
