This is a VaBur with some Cavendish pressed in. Hits all the right notes. Burns slow. Super tasty. Even has a nice nic hit.

I had been just rubbing it out and loading up. But everybody is always going on about how great fold and tuck is, so I thought I’d give it a try.

I put on my kimono, pierced my nipple, and set up the video camera… oh, wait. This is isn’t a Silence of the Lambs post. ?

Seriously though, I’ve heard time and again about how the flavor can be much more nuanced when you fold the flake and pack the bowl. Well, not this blend. It’s much less flavorful than when it’s rubbed out. Not even finishing this bowl. ?

It is an advanced technique, and certainly not for dabblers and those unwilling to poke a tiny little hole in their superfluous man mammaries.

Sounds like the tobacco shop is taking Bullseye Flake and naming it their own. Rubbing out Flake most often alters the flavor. Whether or not for the better is person specific.

Almost all flakes I prefer folded, but there are exceptions. For instance, Ennerdale is terrible folded, and exquisite rubbed out. But the majority taste much better folded.

I do both depending on my mood. Most often I rub it out. ️

Really.. Think about it. If rub it out and pack, the blend will taste more uniform. If you fold and stuff,it will be less intense. So, I think what you are experiencing is normal. Only major difference is, fold and stuff will burn longer since there is less air between the tobacco strands.

Yeah. I’m thinking it might just be this particular blend. Bc it’s very flavorful rubbed out. I’m not giving up on the fold and stuff.
