I was watching a few pipe making videos on YouTube and a couple of pipe makers used a motor-mounted sanding disc that used folded sand paper sandwiched between a cup shape "washer" on the back, and probably a rigid, foam backed pad. The cup-shaped washer was almost the full diameter of the sandpaper pad and the sandpaper was folded around the periphery which allows the pipe maker to sand all around the pipe including the shank/bowl section.
What is this sanding disc called, and where do you buy it? J.H. Lowes shows a similar sanding contrivance. I want to make one and use the money I'll save to buy some briar blocks.
Thanks for any help.
Frank
