Florida Pipe Smokers - Ybor City Cigar Festival November 8

We haven't had a get together for awhile. This looks like it could be interesting. We could potentially meet at one of the smoking friendly establishments for brunch then go to the festival. What do you think?

Thanks. I saw it first on a limited post and that part said November. I should have looked at the actual web site. I still want to go but may try to schedule a get together at Edwards in Tampa the first Saturday in November.

You live in Sarasota? I do as well. I know a couple pipers locally. Do you do anything locally or just at Edwards? A few of us trek to Edwards annually but I wasn't aware of a local group per se...

Why: It will save time for others when you mention local stores, weather, tobacco prices, availability, regulations, location of photos, wildfires, air quality, etc.
How: Under your avatar, (top right, left most of three symbols) you choose "Account Details", which brings up "My Account". "My Location" is halfway down.

I’m at University and Lockwood Ridge. Do you have a favorite spot to smoke a bowl?

I have heard great things about the Ybor City event and would like to attend.

I know the place has really cleaned itself up, but I still cringe when I think of the area. In the '70's it was pretty rough. I was a freshman in college in Tampa and we went down to Ybor one night. Without going into details, a fella pulled a gun on me and three friends for the most stupid of reasons. I decided at that point to take my white ass out of Ybor City.

I think the difference between daytime and nighttime is significant.
