Lately I have forsaken most of my humble collection for the flexibility of a Falcon and 4 bowls. It has some advantages, espescially when trying new tobaccos as comparing like with like is easy. Similar bowl shapes make that a doddle. I like to clench and falcon bits are very hardy. I prefer the dental bit for that reason, although still blessed with most of my own teeth. I also like the fact that Mr Kenly Bugg used his engineering background to make a very sculptural classic. Who else loves these pipes ? Have I become a Codger smoking pouch tobacco in a Falcon ?
I have recently ordered a falcon and two bowls. I am on the road but it will be waiting for me next week when I return home. I like the utility concept. I currently own two Job Bud of Steel pipes and they are great and easy to keep in top smoking order. I only wish for more bowl shape configurations like the falcon.

That's a very strange looking implement ! It has the same functionality as a Falcon but less of the aesthetic. I am currently awaiting a Shellalagh stem in black and purple. For gods sake I now need more bowls ! This is getting out of hand !

Falcons are amazing, I went through a phase for about 6 months of smoking everything in Falcons.

They make great pipes for those of us who are always on the go and work in the field because of their durability and affordable price.

You can get fancy meerschaum bowls (I have 2) so you're not missing out on all the coloring over time that the cool kids are doing nowadays.

I don't think I've ever had a bowl that didnt smoke to the absolute bottom in a Falcon, so you get more mileage out of your tobacco if you're thrifty with that stuff.

They break down quickly and are a breeze to clean and disinfect if you need to.

Those are some of the reasons I love Falcons.

The only thing I'd change is the mouthpieces, they are a bit too hard for me.
